Portfolio
Welcome to our portfolio. This page highlights some of our more recent projects, but of course we’ve been involved in numerous other ones that for various reasons we can’t display. We’ve listed some of our projects at the end in no particular order to give an idea of the scope of our experience and resources.
Pyrogon
Pyrogon was Brian Hook’s small downloadable game company before starting Hooka Tooka. As the sole programmer at Pyrogon he developed and designed four highly successful downloadable games: Candy Cruncher, Letter Linker, NingPo Mahjong, and Fruit Frolic.
Write Portable Code
Write Portable Code was written by Hooka Tooka’s primary developer and founder, Brian Hook. It has been well received and demonstrates Hooka Tooka’s experience developing multiplatform applications and, of course, writing documentation.
Client Projects
The following is a list of various projects we have been contracted to do for various clients over the years:
- Simple Audio Library
- SAL, the Simple Audio Library, is the open source companion audio toolkit for Write Portable Code.
- POSH: Portable Open Source Header
- POSH is a portable open source header file for C and C++ applications that isolates a lot of platform specific elements. Most open source projects have to roll this from scratch every time they startup, but POSH simplifies that process.
- Flash MMO Client
- Flash/Flex Animation Editor
- Custom XML Tools
- XML is a universal file format and markup language in use by many software developers. We have written numerous XML-oriented tools, including translators and editors.
- Due Diligence
